I. God

We believe in one living, sovereign, true God existing in three limitless persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, which is reverently called by the Church “The Trinity.” These Persons are mutually and equally involved in all the works of God, no one Person doing a separate work while enjoying mutual indwelling and perfect co-dependence. They are equal in power, glory and majesty, possessing completely the same attributes. No one Person is lesser nor weaker than the other, only in authority. Thus each Person is distinct from the other, and yet is fully One God. The eternal God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity is to be worshipped.

We believe God is infinite in being and perfection, independent, self-sufficient, self-containing, self-existing and uncreated. God created all things, upholds all things, governs all things and is working out all things according to the counsel of His own will for the praise of His glory. God is unsearchable and incomprehensible, comprehended only through divine revelation of the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit.

We believe God is transcendent, dwelling in an unapproachable light, sitting high above all powers and authorities. He is above all, and is the Lord of all. God is immanent, bringing a group of people to Himself that they may be His people and He may be their God. The Lord is absolute and personal. He moves among them and dwells in them.

We believe God is experienced spiritually, rationally, existentially and corporately among His people. God is worshiped in Spirit and truth. God is extremely charitable and gracious, having mercy on whom He wills and rewarding those who diligently seek Him. God is excellent in his judgments, hating all sin and rebellion against His authority. He alone is holy and righteous. Furthermore, we do not support, but reject doctrinal statements of God made by the Unitarianism, Tritheism, Modalism, Arianism, Pantheism, Agnosticism and Atheism beliefs.
